Dermal Fillers

Injectable fillers are used to restore volume in the face. Whether the loss of volume is due to genetic predisposition, lifestyle, aging, weight loss or a combination of these variables, filler can be used to restore volume in the face and body. The fillers we use are made from hyaluronic acid and are reversible. The use of fillers can eliminate wrinkles, plump and replace soft-tissue volume loss, hydrate skin and define lips, treat depressed scars, and volumize creases, shadows and folds in the face. Anna's goal is to leave you looking and feeling restored, renewed and natural. These enhancements are subtle, yet transformative; leaving you looking like a refreshed and rested version of yourself.

Wrinkle Relaxers/Botox

Botox Cosmetic, Dysport and Jeuveau are the most effective solutions to treat and prevent fine lines and wrinkles caused by dynamic muscle activity. They work the best for frown lines between the brows, horizontal forehead lines, and crows feet around the eyes. Most treatments take 10 to 15 minutes to perform. Your appointment time will be longer to ensure you receive a thorough medical & aesthetic evaluation and treatment plan. Botox, Dysport and Jeuveau are medications that are injected into the muscles to reduce wrinkles that are formed with dynamic muscle movement. Your certified aesthetic injector will work with you to strategically choose the best product and dose for you based on your facial anatomy and muscle strength in the area of concern. Botox, Dysport and Jeuveau can also be used for the following facial concerns; chin dimpling, downward turned mouth, "facial jowls," jawline, lip lines, gummy smile, scars.

Sculptra

Sculptra is an injectable collagen stimulator. Sculptra is used to restore facial volume loss and laxity due to aging. It is a collagen bio-stimulator, not a facial filler. Sculptra contains poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), which is a biocompatible synthetic substance that stimulates collagen production. Sculptra can be used to treat deep lines, temples, and folds to give you a more youthful appearance.

Sculptra is injected deep into the dermis and gradually improves the affected area over time. The Sculptra process takes several weeks. You gradually begin to look younger slowly over 4-10 weeks. A series of treatments may be needed. The result of skin strengthening and volume restoration is natural and beautiful.

Kybella

Kybella is an FDA-approved injectable that improves the appearance of double chins by destroying fat cells. Kybella is made up of deoxycholic acid, a naturally occurring material that helps the body absorb fat. Treatment with Kybella is fast, requires little downtime, and destroys fat cells permanently. Kybella destroys the membranes of the cells that store fat. Once these fat cells are destroyed, they can no longer store fat. The body's natural healing and elimination processes take over, and in about 4-6 weeks, your fat deposits are dramatically reduced or eliminated. Kybella can also be used for other localized areas of fat deposits that are resistant to diet and exercise. These areas are "off label" and commonly include; facial jowls ($700 and up), Bra bulge ($700 and up), and Inner thighs ($700 and up; thighs typically require 2-3 vials per inner thigh).

Kenalog

Raised scars, such as hypertrophic scars and keloids, can be a source of embarrassment and influence daily choices like clothing and interactions. These scars form from injuries or irritation in the lower skin layers, and the severity of the injury doesn't matter—something as small as a mosquito bite can trigger them. While hypertrophic scars remain within the boundary of the original injury, keloids can spread beyond, resembling a new wound.

Treating these scars is challenging since new incisions can lead to more scar tissue. Kenalog injections, which have anti-inflammatory properties, are often used to flatten and soften raised scars. Results vary based on individual factors like skin type, ethnicity, and genetics. Treatment typically involves a series of injections administered over several weeks. The process begins with a consultation with a board-certified Nurse Practitioner to assess the scar and determine the best treatment plan.

Botox for TMJ

Botox may help relieve the symptoms of temporomandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunction. Botox for TMJ dysfunction may help relax the jaw, reduce pain, reduce headaches, and enable persons who suffer from this disorder the ability to open their mouth fully. TMJ disorders can cause jaw pain, grinding, headaches and other symptoms. Conservative interventions are the first line of treatment, as they can often relieve the symptoms. For some individuals, TMJ symptoms continue to be painful and disabling. Botox for TMJ dysfunction can help relax some of the muscles involved, reducing pain and other symptoms. Preliminary findings in the study below demonstrated that 85% of patients reported improvement in pain upon mouth opening and 90% showed improvement in pain when chewing.

Botox for Excessive Sweating/Hyperhidrosis

In 2004, The U.S. Food & Drug Administration approved BOTOX for the treatment of severe primary axillary hyperhidrosis; excessive sweating of the underarm area. Botox is a natural, purified protein with the ability to temporarily block the secretion of the chemical that is responsible for "turning on" the body's sweat glands. By blocking, or interrupting this chemical messenger, BOTOX "turns off" sweating at the area where it has been injected. Research demonstrates that treating excessive sweating of the armpits, hands, feet, head and face, and other relatively small body areas is safe and effective. Botox has been shown to result in an 82-97% decrease in sweating. Results start to be noticeable approximately 2 to 4 days after treatment with the full effects usually noted within 2 weeks. Dryness typically lasts 4-6 months.
